Backup Engineer – Commvault Contract

We have a 6 month day rate contract for an experienced Backup Engineer with a proven track record of Enterprise Back up. Our end customer has a statutory obligation to retain records and we are looking to speak to contractors with a proven track record working as a Backup Engineer supporting enterprise-scale systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, performance tuning and debugging skills.

The Backup Engineer will have excellent knowledge on Commvault and will be responsible for backups for over 400 servers, all mail servers and on premises database backups. The successful resource will be comfortable restoring from backups where required, prior experience with backup diagnostics, metrics and backup reporting is also required.
