Are you an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with specific experience in developing security functions and building maturity in dynamic organisations. Our customer is looking to engage a CISO to augment security services it currently offers its client base. The role will involve designing, reviewing and advising on the structure of global Information Security organisations; developing a comprehensive IT security assessments and functional security roadmaps for clients. Typical consulting tasks will include the creation and implementation of information security management systems, governance, risk management frameworks and information security policies for a demanding customer base.
In terms of your profile, you are likely to have a deep knowledge of security technologies, compliance to industry standards (eg.ISO27000) and security best practises with exceptional communication skills. This role requires an experienced consultant, capable of explaining complex and sometimes expensive security requirements and strategies to non-technical people and securing stakeholder buy in for the approach proposed.
In terms of your career history to date, you will have operated as a CISO at the enterprise level in a complex (preferably multinational) organisation with a proven track record of building security teams with a keen awareness of current security technologies as well as a good awareness of current developments and future trends in security. The ideal candidate will have experience of building a greenfield CISO function from scratch in a Consultative capacity.
