What is a Data Whisperer? A Data Whisperer is someone who helps organisations improve their business through extracting knowledge and insights from their structured and unstructured data to drive a better understanding of their data and their business. The goal is to understand the key messages hidden in an organisations data and to give senior stakeholders the insights necessary to leverage the value of their data and make good business decisions.
We are looking to speak to Data Analysis / Data Science Professional with 8-10 years experience, who can take a data set, quickly get to know a business and examine the data set and understand what the implications are for the business from that Data set. We want to speak to people who can interrogate data and identify key trends and findings in data assets, even when they challenge the expected results or orthodoxy within an organisation. We are looking to speak to Data Scientists with the business understanding and confidence to engage at senior levels, capable of asking the right / hard questions. We are looking for a senior resource, capable of driving genuine insights for a business, working with senior stakeholders to allow them to understand what their data set tells them and more importantly having the strength in communication skills to make sure the key stakeholders understand the import and the implication of what the data is telling them. A key requirement is the presentation skills to accurately and succinctly convey the message in language that is easily understood.
IN terms of background you will be tool independent / tool agnostic, an experienced Data Scientist / Data Analyst with exposure to key tools such as R, SPSS or SAS, Excel, PowerBI, Red Sqirl, Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server. A very generous salary and package will be on offer for the right individual.
